Marcelo Lopes is a multifaceted artist, born in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1973. He has lived in São Paulo for over two decades, where he considers himself a "naturalized paulistano." His artistic journey began in adolescence with writing, but it was starting in 2018 that he began sharing his poetry on digital platforms, especially Instagram.

With two independently published books, "O vôo dos dias no abismo do tempo" (late 2023) and "Alimente o desejo e mate-o, ele não vai te poupar" (early 2025), Marcelo Lopes stands out for his visceral and powerful poetry. His works address daily life, both reality and imagination, exploring themes that often go unnoticed in the rush of everyday life.
