Marcelo Sussekind is a prominent and multifaceted figure in Brazilian music, recognized primarily as one of the country's most influential rock producers in recent decades. His career spans over 35 years, during which he has collaborated with a vast array of artists, solidifying his name as a "wizard" of music production. Sussekind has also worked as a guitarist and bassist, demonstrating his versatility and deep musical knowledge.

His professional trajectory includes producing albums for iconic bands such as Capital Inicial, Paralamas do Sucesso, Engenheiros do Hawaii, Jota Quest, LS Jack, Ira!, Uns e Outros, and Tianastácia. Beyond rock, his work has spanned various genres, with productions for renowned singers such as Lulu Santos, Erasmo Carlos, Daniela Mercury, Maurício Manieri, and Ana Carolina. Currently, Sussekind is also a producer and arranger for Rede Globo's show "The Voice," maintaining his relevance in the music scene.

Sussekind began his musical career in the 1970s, joining bands like A Bolha and later founding Herva Doce in the early 1980s.
