Biography

Márcio Scialis is a renowned Brazilian multi-instrumentalist musician, whose professional career began in 1988 as an actor and, in 1990, as a musician. Recognized as one of the greatest harmonica players in Brazil, Scialis is also an educator, biotherapist, psychoanalyst, art educator, neuropsychopedagogue, and music therapist, in addition to being the author of more than 25 books on education, music, and therapies. His professional career is marked by versatility and a deep connection with music and well-being.

Throughout his career, Scialis has recorded and performed alongside major names in Brazilian and international music, such as maestro Eduardo Lages (known for his work with Roberto Carlos), Laércio Freitas (who accompanied Clara Nunes and Ivan Lins), César Camargo Mariano (partner of Elis Regina), Artur Maia (collaborator of Lulu Santos and Jorge Benjor), and Derico Sciotti. His skill on the harmonica led him to be cited by PlayMusic magazine as one of the ten greatest harmonica players in the country in the early 90s. He has also collaborated with world-renowned harmonica players such as Joe Filisko and Gonzalo Araya.

Scialis has a discography that includes albums such as "Clássicos Internacionais I, II, III e IV", "Inspiração", and "Brazilian Harmonica Jazz", in addition to participations in other projects. More recently, he released the album "Sons de Cura II", an instrumental work focused on well-being, relaxation, and improved quality of life, exploring frequencies and sounds linked to nature and even the rotation of planets. His most recent work, "Sons de Cura", complements this research on the effects of sound on the organism, uniting music and neuroacoustics.
