Biography

Marcos & Belutti is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in 2007, consisting of Marcos (Leonardo Prado de Souza) and Belutti (Bruno Belucci Pereira). Both members were born in São Paulo state, Brazil. Marcos began his musical journey at 15, performing in various venues and collaborating with other duos, while also establishing himself as a composer with songs recorded by renowned artists like Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano and Edson & Hudson. Belutti, on the other hand, started his professional singing career at age 11, touring extensively across Brazil with sertanejo music. He also pursued a solo career, releasing a pop/romantic album independently in 2003.

The duo's formation was a gradual process, with Marcos and Belutti meeting in 2005 through a mutual friend and producer. Belutti had Marcos as a backing vocalist on one of his solo tracks, marking the beginning of their artistic connection. After a period of not performing together, they reconnected in 2007 and decided to combine their talents, officially forming the duo. They received mentorship from established artists like Bruno (from Bruno & Marrone) and Edson (from Edson & Hudson), which helped them gain traction in the sertanejo music scene.

Marcos & Belutti quickly rose to prominence with their blend of sertanejo universitário and romantic elements. Their discography includes numerous successful albums and DVDs, such as "Ao Vivo" (2008), "Nosso Lugar" (2010), "Cores" (2012), and "Acredite" (2017). They are known for hit songs like "Domingo de Manhã," "Aquele 1%" (featuring Wesley Safadão), "Então Foge," and "Romântico Anônimo." Their music has not only dominated radio charts but also become anthems in parties and digital platforms, solidifying their status as major players in Brazilian sertanejo music. They have also collaborated with various artists, enriching their musical output.
