Marcos Sacramento is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, and musical theatre actor born in Niterói. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has established himself as a prominent voice in contemporary Brazilian music, celebrated for his versatile vocal delivery, sophisticated phrasing, and deep connection to samba. His extensive discography includes dozens of solo projects, collaborative albums, and band recordings, earning critical acclaim both in Brazil and internationally.

Throughout his career, Sacramento has collaborated with notable artists such as Soraya Ravenle, Nilze Carvalho, and Zé Paulo Becker, exploring traditional and modern sounds within Brazilian popular music. His 1997 album "A Modernidade da Tradição" was critically lauded abroad, being named the best Brazilian release of the year by the French magazine Le Monde de la Musique.
