Marielle Santos Antunes Rebouças, known artistically as Mari Antunes, is a Brazilian singer born in Itapetinga, Bahia, on September 7, 1986. Her musical career began in 2005, passing through several regional bands such as Estação Lunar, Bembolado, Lordão, and Descarga Elétrica, before joining the band Sarypa. In 2012, Mari Antunes took over the vocals of the renowned axé band Babado Novo, replacing Claudia Leitte and consolidating her career on the national scene. Her contagious energy and charisma have made her a beloved figure in axé music.

Before dedicating herself entirely to music, Mari Antunes graduated in nursing and even practiced the profession, but the dream of singing spoke louder. Her journey is marked by overcoming challenges and the constant search for her space in the music industry. She was awarded Revelation Singer of Carnival in 2013, demonstrating her talent and popularity. Mari Antunes has also stood out for sharing the stage with great names of Brazilian music, such as Ivete Sangalo, in memorable moments of her career.
