Biography

Mariana Machado Valadão was born in Belo Horizonte, on July 3, 1984. The daughter of pastors Márcio Valadão and Renata Valadão, she grew up in an environment deeply connected to sacred music and religious leadership, being the sister of fellow singers Ana Paula Valadão and André Valadão. Before pursuing her individual path, Mariana was a member of the renowned band Diante do Trono, one of the major names in contemporary Christian music in Brazil.

In her solo career, which began with the release of her debut album in 2008, the artist quickly gained prominence in the national gospel scene. This initial work featured the collaboration of her siblings and earned her the Revelation award at the 2009 Troféu Talento. In the same year, she signed a contract with the record label Graça Music and released the album De Todo Meu Coração, which achieved gold certification and featured compositions by Thalles Roberto.

Throughout the following years, she consolidated her presence in the musical landscape with new releases, such as the album Vai Brilhar in 2011 and the record Santo in 2013, the latter released by Sony Music with a guest appearance by Maurício Manieri. Beyond her artistic career, Mariana and her husband Felippe founded Lagoinha in Niterói, the first branch of the Lagoinha Baptist Church outside of her hometown.
