Biography

Marina de Oliveira is a prominent Brazilian Christian pop singer, songwriter, music producer, video director, and arranger. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she officially launched her musical career in 1986 with the release of her independent debut LP, Imenso Amor, which drew musical influences from American gospel artists such as Amy Grant and Sandy Patti. She quickly gained widespread national recognition with hits like "Faça um Teste," which was heavily played on Melodia FM and propelled her to sell over one hundred thousand copies of her record.

Throughout a career spanning nearly three decades, Marina has played a vital role in the Brazilian gospel scene as a founder and artistic producer for the prominent label MK Music. She also hosted the television show Conexão Gospel, which showcased music videos and performances by various evangelical artists. In addition to her solo work, she was a member of the acclaimed all-female vocal group Voices, alongside notable singers such as Fernanda Brum, Eyshila, Liz Lanne, Jozyanne, and Lilian Azevedo.

As a multifaceted artist and video producer, she has directed and produced numerous music videos and live DVD specials for various artists under the MK Music roster. Her artistic contributions were recognized internationally when she won a Latin Grammy Award for her album Na Extremidade.
