Marinho Fersan is a Brazilian vocalist known for his participation in the Bahian pagode group Gera Samba. Born in Salvador, Bahia, he became one of the vocalists of Gera Samba, a group that emerged in 1992 and became a precursor of the rhythm known as pagode-axé. Fersan, nicknamed "Furacão do Recôncavo," carries a long history in the band, having been with the group for about 17 years, according to 2015 information.

Throughout his career with Gera Samba, Marinho Fersan was involved in various phases of the group, including the transition to a style closer to traditional samba (samba de raiz), seeking musical evolution and audience expansion. Gera Samba, which features music close to samba de roda, has accompanied major names in Brazilian music such as Zeca Pagodinho and Clara Nunes, in addition to participating in samba school parades and carnivals.
