Marisa Domingos Orth is a prominent Brazilian actress, singer, comedian, and television presenter, born in São Paulo. She studied psychology at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and dramatic interpretation at the Escola de Arte Dramática of the University of São Paulo, quickly establishing herself as a versatile figure in Brazilian entertainment. Her early career took off in the theater during the 1980s, where she performed with the Vento Forte theater group and the artistic collective Luni, later contributing to the musical scene as a mezzo-soprano with the band Vexame.

Transitioning to television and film, Orth achieved widespread fame in 1990 with her role in the telenovela Rainha da Sucata, earning an APCA Award for Best Revelation. She further cemented her comedic legacy in the 1990s and 2000s through iconic sitcoms such as Sai de Baixo—where she played the beloved character Magda alongside Miguel Falabella—and Toma Lá, Dá Cá. Her extensive acting credits span numerous television productions, theatrical musical hits like A Família Addams, and critically acclaimed films including Doces Poderes, for which she won a Guarani Award for Best Actress.
