MARO is a Portuguese singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer who has developed a notable connection to Brazilian music throughout her career. Born in Lisbon, she studied classical piano before moving to the United States to attend the Berklee College of Music. After graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she launched her professional career and quickly collaborated with various international artists, including a significant partnership with legendary Brazilian musician Milton Nascimento on the track "juro que vi flores".
