Biography

Matheus Fernandes de Paiva was born in Fortaleza, Ceará, on November 9, 1991. Before establishing himself as a singer, he worked with political marketing and took his first steps in music as a songwriter, creating tracks performed by Wesley Safadão back in the Garota Safada band era. Throughout his career, he has stood out in the forró scene by incorporating elements of sertanejo and electronic beats.

The artist achieved major national projection with viral hits and heavy-hitting collaborations. In 2019, he released the hit "Sonâmbulo" with Léo Santana. In 2021, he cemented his name at the top of the charts with the single "Baby Me Atende," in partnership with Dilsinho, in addition to achieving enormous repercussion with "Coração Cachorro," recorded alongside Ávine Vinny.

His discography includes striking works such as the album Matheus Fernandes - Na Praia, released in 2021 by Som Livre, and the project MF no Rio, recorded in 2023 with guest appearances by names like Belo and Ludmilla.
