Biography

Maurício Manieri is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, classical pianist, arranger, and music producer who blends elements of pop music, MPB, and soul. Born in São Paulo, he began his formal music studies and classical piano at the age of six, quickly proving to be a musical prodigy and performing on stage by the age of eight. After winning classical piano competitions in his youth, he shifted towards pop music by forming the garage band Delta T with his brother Marcelo, eventually leaving his Chemical Engineering studies to pursue a full-time career in music.

In 1998, Manieri released his debut album, "A Noite Inteira," which featured major hit singles like "Bem Querer," "Minha Menina," "Te Quero Tanto," and "Pensando Em Você." Known for his distinctive, rich, and soulful voice, he has released several successful albums throughout his career, including "Apartamento 82" and "Quero Ver Quem Vem." His unique musical style caught the attention of producer Dudu Marote, helping him cement his place within the Brazilian pop and romantic soul landscape alongside contemporaries like Alexandre Pires.

In 2019, the artist recorded the massively successful DVD and tour project "Classics," celebrating over two decades of his career with a blend of national and international pop-romance hits. The production featured guest appearances from major musical figures such as Ivete Sangalo, Daniel, and Chitãozinho & Xororó. Continuing to tour extensively across Brazil, Manieri remains a prominent showman, captivating audiences with his romantic repertoire and timeless performances.
