Biography

Mauro Henrique Sousa was born in Brasília on November 10, 1983. He is widely known for his work as the lead singer of the renowned Christian rock band Oficina G3, a group he was a member of from 2008 until 2020 and with which he recorded landmark albums such as Depois da Guerra and Histórias e Bicicletas (Reflexões, Encontros e Esperança). Before solidifying his career in the band, he went through projects like Vértice and FullRange, where he already exercised his talent as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.

In parallel with his journey with Oficina G3, Mauro developed innovative projects such as Mauro Loop Sessions, in which he uses only voice, acoustic guitar, and effect pedals to reconstruct songs live. This technological and authorial aspect brought him closer to various exponents of the Brazilian music scene, resulting in partnerships and tours with names like Leonardo Gonçalves, Guilherme de Sá, and Eli Soares. His vocal versatility also led him to collaborate on tracks by major national artists and bands, such as Rosa de Saron, Scalene, and Supercombo.

After concluding his official run with Oficina G3 in 2020, the artist continued investing in his solo career with the release of works such as the album Mauro and the audiovisual project Førma, recorded in Curitiba. Staying active in music production and expressive partnerships, Mauro Henrique continues to redefine his sound in rock and Brazilian contemporary Christian music, engaging with different generations of listeners and musicians.
