Daniel Pedreira Sena Pellegrini, better known as MC Daleste, was a prominent Brazilian singer and songwriter born in São Paulo. Emerging in the late 2000s, he initially gained recognition through internet releases before becoming one of the most influential figures in the development of funk paulista and funk ostentação. His impactful lyrics and charismatic delivery helped shape a new era of Brazilian urban music, with notable tracks such as "São Paulo" and "Quem É?".

Throughout his career, Daleste achieved widespread popularity and commercial success, performing dozens of shows monthly and collaborating with notable peers like MC Léo da Baixada and MC Dedé.
