Matheus Wallace Mendonça da Cruz, known artistically as MC Don Juan, is a singer and songwriter from São Paulo, born in São Paulo on January 3, 2001. From a very young age, he showed an interest in music, starting to sing at just 11 years old. However, it was in 2015 that he adopted his final stage name and achieved greater national recognition within the São Paulo funk scene.

The artist's big career breakthrough occurred in 2016 with the release of the track "Me Amarro na Noite," distributed via a music video produced by KondZilla. In the following years, he established himself as one of the genre's leading names by charting massive hits like "Oh Novinha" and "Lei do Retorno"—the latter in partnership with MC Hariel, which broke viewing records on YouTube and became part of the repertoire of major Brazilian urban music labels and producers, collaborating with prominent artists like MC Kevin.

MC Don Juan's popularity expanded beyond digital platforms and YouTube, reaching broadcast television and international music charts. Songs like "Oh Novinha" gained strong resonance when performed on TV shows and Rede Globo soap operas, in addition to featuring on Spotify rankings and charts in Paraguay.
