Guilherme Kaue Castanheira Alves, known artistically as MC Gui, was born in São Paulo, SP, on May 19, 1998. He stood out in the Brazilian music scene as one of the main exponents of funk ostentação, gaining great popularity in the early 2010s with hits like "Ela Quer" and "O Bonde Passou". His artistic journey began in a casual way during his childhood, when he wrote funk lyrics alongside his brother, later receiving encouragement from his family to professionalize his career.

Over the years, MC Gui expanded his media presence by participating in various television programs, including the reality show A Fazenda and the talent show Dancing Brasil.
