Biography

Hariel Denaro Ribeiro, widely known as MC Hariel, was born in the city of São Paulo on December 20, 1997. The son of a musician who was a member of the group Raíces de América, he took his first steps in his musical career during childhood, recording his compositions at eleven years of age, while during his adolescence he juggled jobs as a pizza delivery driver and a card salesman to support himself.

Initial recognition came in 2014 with the release of the hit "Passei Sorrindo", which later gained projection with a music video directed by KondZilla. Initially moving between funk ousadia and funk ostentação with tracks like "Novo Corolla", Hariel achieved national prominence alongside MC Don Juan on the song "Lei do Retorno", in addition to collaborating with artists such as Gaab, DJ Zullu, DJ Alok, MC Davi, Salvador da Rima, and MC Ryan SP, and releasing a posthumous collaboration with rapper Sabotage.

Consolidated as one of the main exponents of São Paulo funk in Brazil, the artist expanded his discography with acclaimed albums and EPs, such as Chora Agora, Ri Depois — whose title pays homage to the classic by the group Racionais MC's — and hits like "Maçã Verde". His artistic trajectory stands out for its versatility in moving through social, romantic, and conscious themes, accumulating billions of views on his productions.
