Biography

Guilherme Sérgio Ramos de Souza, widely known by his stage name MC IG, was born in São Paulo on May 10, 1997. Originally from Vila Medeiros, a neighborhood in the northern zone of the capital of São Paulo, the artist began his journey in urban music with the release of his self-titled debut EP in 2015.

The recognition of his work in the São Paulo funk scene began to gain major national projection in 2018, when he released the single "3 Dias Virado" through the record label GR6 Explode. From this milestone onward, the singer consolidated his discography with standout projects such as "Diamante" (2020), "O que o Igor Guilherme Anda Pensando" (2022), and "Ninguém Tá Puro" (2023), in addition to signing with Warner Music Brasil and releasing the album "Meu Nome Não É Igor%".

His relevance in the contemporary music scene was heightened in 2023 with the resounding success of the track "Let's Go 4", which remained at the top of the country's digital charts for months. MC IG continues to expand his work with various releases, sharing space and relevance on streaming platforms with other exponents of the genre, such as MC Ryan SP and MC Kevin.
