Jonathan Augusto de Carvalho, more famously known as MC Jvila, emerged from the Vila Mariana neighborhood in São Paulo, Brazil, displaying a profound passion for music from a young age. His musical journey began to take shape around the age of 12 when he became captivated by the burgeoning funk music scene. His initial breakthrough came with the track "Golf Sport Line," which quickly became an anthem in the southern zone of São Paulo, solidifying his local presence and paving the way for future opportunities.
