Luiz Felipe Messias Lopes, known artistically as MC Lipivox, was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on May 27, 1999. He is a prominent figure in the Brazilian funk scene, particularly recognized for his "MTGs" (montages) and viral baile funk hits. Before his musical career, he worked in a scrapyard and as a motoboy, experiences that deeply influenced his lyrical content, focusing on the realities of favela life, messages of faith, and social critique. This approach has earned him recognition as a key voice in the "funk consciente" (conscious funk) movement.

MC Lipivox gained significant national traction starting in 2019, becoming a YouTube and Spotify phenomenon by 2020 with hits like "Anjos," "Só Gratidão," and "Motoboy." His lyrics, often described as social chronicles and testaments of faith, have forged a strong connection with Brazil's peripheral communities.
