Paloma Roberta Silva Santos, known professionally as MC Loma, is a Brazilian singer and digital influencer born in Jaboatão dos Guararapes. She rose to national prominence as part of the musical trio MC Loma e As Gêmeas Lacração, alongside her friends Mirella and Mariely. Initially viewing singing as a casual activity rather than a career aspiration, her life changed dramatically after releasing the viral hit song "Envolvimento". The track quickly dominated the charts, reaching the top position on Spotify's "Global Viral 50" list and accumulating hundreds of millions of views on YouTube during the 2008 Carnival season, where she performed alongside established acts like Anitta, Wesley Safadão, and Solange Almeida.

Despite her rapid success, MC Loma faced several career hurdles, including contractual disputes with her former management label Start Music and temporary bans from performing due to schooling issues. Following legal battles and the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, the group managed to regain control over their artistic output while exploring new avenues in digital media.
