Biography

Luiz Fernando Felizardo Teixeira, better known as MC Nandinho, is a Brazilian funk carioca singer born in Rio de Janeiro in 1988. Active in the music scene since 2006, he balanced his artistic career with odd jobs for many years, working as a recyclable waste collector and a shoeshine boy until mid-2016. Throughout his journey, he built a repertoire with several prominent songs for the genre, including hits like "Mulher profissional" and "Só um pedacinho".

The major milestone of his career occurred in July 2016 with the release of the national hit "Malandramente", recorded in partnership with Dennis DJ and MC Nego Bam. The track achieved enormous repercussion, becoming the most-streamed song in the month of its release and leading platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. The resounding success brought great visibility to the artists involved, making them among the most searched on Google in Brazil that year.

In addition to his standout work in funk carioca, MC Nandinho released the EP "Vem colar com nóis" and collaborated with other big names in the Brazilian urban scene, such as Kevin o Chris. His work consolidated his importance in the funk movement, dialoguing with nationally relevant productions alongside artists like MC Livinho.
