Biography

José Rodrigo dos Santos Silva, widely known as MC Rodrigo do CN, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter born in Viana, Espírito Santo. His musical journey began in childhood, and by the age of 12, he was already crafting his first funk verses. In 2020, he relocated to Belo Horizonte to further his career, where he currently resides. Before dedicating himself solely to music, he balanced his studies and work, having previously been a factory assistant, painter, and seller of basic food baskets. His stage name, Rodrigo do CN, is a tribute to the Cannã neighborhood in Viana where he grew up.

MC Rodrigo do CN released his debut single, "Artigo da Tropa," in 2019, followed by a consistent stream of new music. His first album, "Eu & Elas," was released in 2023, and his second, "+18," came out the following year. Beyond "Te Maceto Depois do Baile," one of his most recognized hits is "No Pike BBB," which gained significant attention during its feature on Big Brother Brasil in 2022. In 2023, he embarked on his first international tour, with performances in Portugal.

He has collaborated with notable artists such as Dennis DJ, MC Saci, and L7NNON.
