Ryan Santana dos Santos, known professionally as MC Ryan SP, is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur born in São Paulo. Raised in the Zaki Narchi neighborhood in the northern zone of the capital, he worked various odd jobs before dedicating himself fully to music and rising as a major figure in paulista funk. He achieved national breakthrough success with the 2000s-era track "Vergonha pra Mídia", collaborating alongside artists like MC Kevin and Salvador da Rima.

Throughout his career, MC Ryan SP has released several successful EPs and albums, including Lágrimas do Tubarão "Contos e Fatos", Coração Terra de Ninguém with producer Pedro Lotto, and the collaborative album Bad Boys alongside MC IG. His commercial footprint expanded significantly when he signed with Warner Music Brasil in 2022 and surpassed ten million monthly listeners on Spotify, boosted by viral hits such as "Tubarão Te Amo" and "Felina".
