Biography

Isaac Daniel Júnior, known professionally as MC Zaac, is a Brazilian singer, rapper, and songwriter who has become a prominent figure in the funk carioca scene. Born in Diadema, São Paulo, he began his musical journey in 2010, initially under the name MC Isaac. His early influences included Brazilian funk legends Claudinho & Buchecha and MC Marcinho, whose music inspired him to pursue a career in music. Zaac faced challenges growing up in the periphery, balancing school, work, and helping his family, but his passion for music remained a driving force.

MC Zaac first gained national recognition as one half of the duo Zaac & Jerry, alongside Jerry Smith. Their collaboration produced the massive hit "Bumbum Granada" in 2016, which topped the charts on platforms like Spotify and iTunes in Brazil and gained international traction. After the duo disbanded in late 2016, MC Zaac embarked on a successful solo career, releasing popular tracks such as "Te Jurupinga" and "Vai Embrazando," the latter becoming a major hit in Brazil and charting internationally.

His career has been marked by significant collaborations with major artists, most notably Anitta. Their joint track "Vai Malandra" (featuring Maejor, Tropkillaz, and DJ Yuri Martins) made history as the first Portuguese-language song to enter Spotify's Global Top 50. MC Zaac's music is characterized by its fusion of funk, reggaeton, and trap beats, creating an energetic and danceable sound that has earned him a wide following both in Brazil and abroad. He continues to release new music, solidifying his position as a versatile and influential artist in the Brazilian music landscape.
