Gabriela de Abreu Severino, known artistically as Melody, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter born in São Paulo. She gained national notoriety on the internet in 2015 after going viral with videos in which she performed falsettos inspired by international music divas, in addition to releasing the single "Fale de Mim", composed by her father, MC Belinho. Throughout her career, the artist has transitioned through sounds such as pop, funk melody, and piseiro, building a career marked by great digital repercussion, successful partnerships, and an early entry into the music industry.

The singer's rise came with several moments of great media visibility and also controversies related to her exposure during childhood and adolescence. In 2019, her image and artistic direction generated public debates and interventions by agencies such as the Public Ministry, as well as criticism from public figures like Felipe Neto, ultimately culminating in restructuring within the management of her career. In the same year, she released the hit "Tô Bem, Tô Zen" in partnership with the producer KondZilla, significantly expanding her audience on digital platforms.
