Biography

O Menores Atos is a prominent Brazilian post-hardcore band formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2002 by Luis Felipe Fabris and Rodrigo Salgado. Initially, the group released their first independent studio album, entitled Vozes, Distorção e Trechos de Nossas Vidas, in 2005, followed by a period of hiatus in their activities. Starting in 2011, with the addition of Cyro Sampaio, the group resumed their journey at full strength, culminating in the release of the acclaimed album Animalia in 2014 and consolidating their sound in the national alternative scene.

Over the years, the lineup underwent transformations with the departure of founders and the arrival of new members, such as Celso Lehnemann and Gustavo Marquardt. The band expanded their discography with works like the 2018 album Lapso and the mini-album Tropical Melancolia, released in 2020 in partnership with the band Zander. With appearances at major events such as Rock in Rio and Lollapalooza Brazil, the trio maintained a strong relevance in the independent scene alongside names like Bullet Bane and Chuva Negra.

The group's musical identity transitions between the intensity of alternative rock and striking melodic arrangements, evidenced in EPs like Lúmen and collaborative works with Nova Orquestra. With a series of singles released throughout the 2020s, Menores Atos continues to influence the Brazilian post-hardcore landscape, staying active with frequent releases and memorable performances throughout the country.
