Metanóia is a Brazilian band from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, formed in 2018. The quintet stands out for its eclectic sound, which blends influences from 70s rock, contemporary neo-psychedelia, MPB, jazz fusion, and groove.

Featuring original work that explores ethereal soundscapes and metalinguistic lyrics, the band released their debut album, "Cada Instante, uma Pintura", in September 2023. Conceived since 2019, the record represents the group's maturation, presenting a mix of instrumental and vocal tracks that invite the listener on a sensory journey.

Metanóia's musical references include names like Stereolab, PLUMA, BaianaSystem, Arthur Verocai, Rodrigo Amarante, and HOMESHAKE. Through their music, the band seeks to articulate different artistic expressions and life itself, addressing themes such as aging and the transformation of the artist.
