Mia Badgyal, born Bruno Henrique Reis de Moura on August 8, 1997, is a multifaceted Brazilian artist hailing from the East Zone of São Paulo. She has carved a niche for herself in the independent pop and electronic music scene by skillfully blending sounds from the periphery and dance floors with contemporary aesthetics. Badgyal's artistic journey began with early exposure to music through church choirs and local dance and theater activities. However, she diverged from a path in gospel music in her teenage years to explore her own artistic voice.

Her career officially launched in 2017 as a DJ and costume designer within São Paulo's LGBTQ+ cultural circuit, with the release of her debut single "Na Batida." By 2018, she was recognized by G1 as a promising emerging trans artist. Her 2019 EP, "MIA," further solidified her identity within the club scene. Badgyal's music is characterized by its fusion of genres, including reggaeton, Brazilian funk, and electronic music, reflecting the diverse cultural landscape of Brazil. She emphasizes following her instincts rather than adhering to strict genre boundaries, resulting in a unique and fluid sound.
