Millôr Fernandes was a prolific Brazilian writer, humorist, playwright, translator, and journalist whose career spanned over seven decades. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he began working at the influential magazine O Cruzeiro at a young age, eventually leaving a lasting mark on major Brazilian media outlets such as Veja, O Pasquim, and Jornal do Brasil.
