Biography

Mirianes Zabot is a Brazilian singer and songwriter born on April 26, 1981, in Ciríaco, Rio Grande do Sul. She relocated to São Paulo in 2006, where she has since built a diverse professional career focused on Música Popular Brasileira (MPB).

Her debut album, "Mosaico Foto-Prosaico," was released in 2009 as both a CD and DVD, co-produced by Itamar Collaço and Zabot herself. This initial work showcased her talent for interpreting established artists while also featuring new composers. In 2016, she released her second album, "Mirianês Zabot canta Gonzaguinha - Pegou um Sonho e Partiu," a tribute to the renowned Brazilian composer Gonzaguinha, co-produced with Oswaldo Bosbah.

Zabot's repertoire includes MPB, samba, and bossa nova, featuring both original compositions and interpretations of classic Brazilian songs. Her work is characterized by a rich and varied professional history, bringing to light new talent and honoring the legacy of Brazilian music. She is an independent artist, releasing her music through her own label.
