Biography

Mixto Quente was a Brazilian rock band formed in São Paulo in 1981. The original lineup consisted of Kim on guitar and vocals, Raul Miller on guitar, Frajola Marcelo on bass, and Beny Berger on drums. Two members, Kim and Beny, were former members of the band Made in Brazil. The band's sound was characterized by hard rock, a common style among São Paulo bands of that era.

During their active years, Mixto Quente released one LP titled "Mixto Quente" through the São Paulo-based independent label Baratos Afins. The band underwent lineup changes, with Frajola and Raul Miller being replaced by Márcio Milani and Thomas Beerman, respectively. Beerman was previously a member of the band Bagga's Guru.

Although their career was relatively short, Mixto Quente left a mark on the Brazilian rock scene of the 1980s. Their music, particularly their self-titled album, is remembered by fans and collectors of Brazilian rock, often associated with the independent music scene of São Paulo. The band's work is sometimes mentioned in discussions about the early hard rock bands from the region.
