Biography

The group Muleke Travesso emerged in 1992, in the East Zone of São Paulo, formed by former members of the children's group Toca do Coelho. Their musical trajectory was consolidated in the São Paulo pagode scene, charting hits that marked an era.

At the beginning of their career, Muleke Travesso participated in a compilation titled "Sabor Brasil", by Transcontinental FM radio, with the song "É tão ruim sem você" standing out. The following year, they released their first album through Sony Music, which included a hit voiced by Gilberto Gil, "Não chore mais". In 1995, produced by Leandro Lehart, from Art Popular, the group released the CD "Coisa Boa Demais", which further boosted their popularity with the tracks "Coisa boa demais", "Meu bem querer" and "Você em mim" reaching the top of the charts in Brazil.

In 1997, a split occurred in the group, with the majority of members leaving to form the ensemble "Os Travessos". Despite this, Muleke Travesso continued with new members, releasing the album "Volta meu amor", which explored varied rhythms such as salsa and axé music. The group is remembered for their contribution to Brazilian romantic pagode, with songs that address themes of love and relationships, and for having been a nursery of talents who went on to successful careers.
