Biography

Nadson de Jesus Alves, artistically known as Nadson o Ferinha, was born in the municipality of Tobias Barreto in Sergipe and began his musical journey in childhood at just eleven years of age, performing in his home region. His stage name was coined by his uncle Edinaldo, and he soon gained local notoriety by performing songs in the arrocha style and sharing videos on the internet, initially being nicknamed "Ferinha do Arrocha" by the public.

National recognition came in 2021, driven by the success of his cover of "Na Ponta do Pé," a song originally released by MC Livinho, which gained massive traction on digital platforms like TikTok and Spotify. From then on, the singer expanded his repertoire of covers and major collaborations within the Brazilian music scene.

Consolidating his career, Nadson o Ferinha won an award in 2023 at the Prêmio Multishow de Música Brasileira in the Brega and Arrocha of the Year category, thanks to the success of the hit "Sinal," recorded in partnership with singer João Gomes. Throughout his career, he also stood out for his arrocha versions of hits by various nationally prominent artists, such as Gusttavo Lima and Henrique & Juliano.
