Naldo Benny, born Ronaldo Jorge da Silva in Rio de Janeiro, is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and dancer known for blending R&B, pop, and modernized funk carioca. He first rose to prominence in the late 1990s as part of the duo Naldo & Lula alongside his late brother, before establishing a successful solo career in the late 2000s. His music helped reshape the sound of Brazilian funk by moving away from explicit lyrics and incorporating upbeat electronic and dance elements, earning him widespread commercial success with hits like "Como Mágica" and "Amor de Chocolate".
