Nara Gil Moreira, born in Salvador, Bahia, on February 22, 1966, is a Brazilian actress and singer. She is the eldest daughter of the iconic musician Gilberto Gil and his first wife, Belina de Aguiar. Gil's artistic journey began in the early 1980s when she started singing backing vocals for her father's band, participating in concerts such as "Um Banda Um," "Extra," and "Raça Humana." This collaboration marked the beginning of a long and fruitful artistic relationship between father and daughter.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Nara Gil also gained recognition for her acting roles. She is particularly remembered for her portrayal of DJ Black Boy in the popular Brazilian television series "Armação Ilimitada" in the mid-1980s. Her acting career also includes an appearance in the 1981 film "Corações a Mil."
