Netinho de Paula is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, television presenter, and politician born in São Paulo. He rose to musical prominence in the 1980s and 1990s as the lead vocalist of the romantic pagode group Negritude Júnior, helping to popularize hits such as "Cohab City" and "Tanajura". After leaving the group in 2001 to pursue a solo career, he established himself as a prominent television personality, hosting programs focused on community uplifting and cultural representation, including Domingo da Gente and the founding of TV da Gente.

Alongside his artistic trajectory, Netinho de Paula has maintained an active presence in Brazilian politics, serving as a city councilman in São Paulo and engaging with various political parties.
