Biography
The Brazilian vocal group Nos Quatro (meaning "Us Four" in Portuguese) emerged in Recife, Pernambuco, in 2004. The band was formed by four friends who shared a passion for music and a desire to explore their own sound. Initially, the group consisted of Juliana Fernandes on vocals, Piero Bianchi on piano and guitar, Chacon on vocals, and João Melo on guitar. Their early performances often featured reinterpretations of popular national and international hits, quickly gaining them a following in their home state.
In 2005, Nos Quatro released their first original song and CD, titled "In Natura," which also became the name of their debut album. The group's popularity grew, leading to the recording of their first DVD, "Ao vivo na praia de Maracaípe," in Pernambuco. During this period, the band's lineup evolved with João Melo departing to pursue personal projects, and Breno Durães joining as the guitarist. This shift brought a new dynamic to their sound, with a greater emphasis on the electric guitar.
Nos Quatro became a recognized name not only in Pernambuco but across the Northeast region of Brazil, captivating audiences in states like Alagoas, Paraíba, and Rio Grande do Norte. Their music, a blend of popular Brazilian genres, resonated with a wide audience, solidifying their place in the regional music scene. The group's commitment to quality performances and their unique interpretations of music have made them a notable act in Brazilian popular music.
