Odaléia Guedes dos Santos, known more commonly as Léia, was a Brazilian singer who lived a tragically short life, passing away at the age of 23 in 1950. Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1927, she was the daughter of Manoel Guedes dos Santos and Luiza Fernandes Romano. Her musical career, though brief, is notably intertwined with the life of Luiz Gonzaga, the "King of Baião."

Léia met Luiz Gonzaga in 1945, and it is reported that she was pregnant at the time. They moved in together, and Gonzaga acknowledged paternity of their son, Luiz Gonzaga do Nascimento Júnior, who would later become the renowned artist Gonzaguinha. Despite an initial period of cohabitation, the relationship became strained, leading Léia to leave Gonzaga's home with their son. The circumstances surrounding their separation and her later life are marked by hardship, including a battle with tuberculosis.

Odaléia's life story is often recounted in the context of Luiz Gonzaga's biography and the life of their son, Gonzaguinha. While her own musical output might not be extensively documented, her role as the mother of a significant Brazilian musical figure and her connection to Luiz Gonzaga place her within the broader narrative of Brazilian popular music.
