Biography

Oficina G3 is a Brazilian Christian rock band formed in the city of São Paulo in 1987. Founded by Juninho Afram, Wagner García, Walter Lopes, Túlio Régis, and Luciano Manga, the group stood out for blending heavier strains of rock with Christian music, at a time when the genre still faced resistance within the Brazilian religious community. Throughout its career, the band has gone through various line-ups and explored different subgenres of rock, such as hard rock, pop rock, nu metal, and progressive metal, establishing itself as an icon of Christian rock in the country.

With a career spanning over three decades, Oficina G3 is recognized for its musical proficiency and for impacting generations with messages of faith and hope. The band has been nominated for and won several awards, including the Latin Grammy. Its discography features albums that became classics of the genre, such as "Indiferença", "O Tempo", "Humanos", and "Depois da Guerra".
