Biography

The band Onze:20 emerged in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, in the year 2006. Formed by friends with musical influences in common, the group decided to join forces to create a project with original compositions and cover versions. The name "Onze:20" came about in an unusual way, being the exact time when the members were questioning what the group's sound identity would be.

With an authentic musical style that blends reggae, rock, and pop, the band established itself in the Brazilian music scene. "Roots rock reggae," as they define it themselves, gained national projection with the success of the single "Meu Lugar," released in 2012, which quickly became a hit, boosting the group's career. The band has already released several albums, including "Efedrina" (2010), "A Nossa Barraca" (2012), and "Vida Loka" (2014), showcasing their evolution and artistic consistency.

Throughout its trajectory, Onze:20 demonstrated versatility by participating in soap opera soundtracks, such as "Em Família," and performing at important national and international festivals, such as "Brasil Day" in Japan and the Latin Grammy in Las Vegas. The band also collaborated with other artists, such as the North American reggae band SOJA, on a bilingual single, and with Brazilian names like Atitude 67 and Ana Vilela, showing their ability to move across different sounds and audiences.
