Orochi, born Flávio Cesar Costa de Castro in 1999, is a prominent Brazilian rapper and entrepreneur from São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro. He began his musical journey at the age of 14, competing in local freestyle battles such as the Batalha do Tanque. His talent quickly became evident when he became the youngest champion of the national "Duelo de MCs" in 2015, defeating the rapper Alves in the final. This early success solidified his reputation in the Brazilian hip hop scene before he transitioned from the battle circuit to recording music.\n\nThe artist gained widespread recognition as a member of the hip hop group Modestiaparte. However, it was his solo career and the establishment of his own label that propelled him to mainstream fame. He is a key figure in the trap-funk subgenre, known for hits like "Mainstreet" and his participation in the collaborative project "Poetas no Topo 2". In 2018, he collaborated with Batz Ninja on the track "Asterix and Obelix", which helped transition his viral internet presence into a professional recording career.\n\nBeyond his musical output, which includes successful studio albums like Celebridade and Vida Cara, Orochi has become a significant business figure within the urban music industry in Brazil.
