Mauro Davi dos Santos Nepomuceno, professionally known as Oruam, is a prominent Brazilian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in the Cidade de Deus favela, he initially pursued psychology studies before dedicating himself entirely to music, achieving widespread popularity with his distinctive style in trap music. He rose to mainstream prominence following the release of his debut track "Invejoso" and subsequently signed with Orochi's Mainstreet record label, quickly accumulating millions of streams and earning recognition within the contemporary Brazilian urban music scene.
