Biography

Os Barões da Pisadinha is a Brazilian musical band of piseiro and tecnobrega formed in December 2015 by musicians Rodrigo Barão and Felipe Barão, originating from the municipalities of Heliópolis and Ribeira do Amparo in Bahia. The group achieved massive initial popularity in the north and northeast regions of Brazil with catchy hits, quickly establishing themselves in the northeastern music scene.

The turning point to national stardom occurred in 2019, decisively boosted when soccer player Neymar posted a video on his Instagram profile dancing to the song "Tá Rocheda". Following this major exposure, the duo signed a contract with Sony Music in November of that same year, expanding their reach nationwide and appearing on high-ratings television shows, such as Domingão do Faustão.

In 2020, the group released their first live album, titled Conquistas, which brought together standout hits and featured collaborations with renowned artists such as Xand Avião, Thiago Brava, and Luan Estilizado. The following year, they achieved a historic feat by becoming only the second Brazilian artist to chart two tracks simultaneously in the Top 50 of the Spotify Global chart, with the songs "Recairei" and "Basta Você Me Ligar", in addition to receiving a 2021 Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Sertaneja Music Album category.
