This unique genre is characterized by spoken interludes within the musical flow, drawing parallels to modern rap. Do Breque began his musical journey as a self-taught guitarist, initially exploring rock music in the band Ramal 3 during the 1970s. His fascination with samba de breque emerged in the same decade, a style he found captivating due to its intricate rhythmic and vocal demands.
