Biography

OutroEu is a Brazilian musical duo originating from Nova Iguaçu, formed by musicians Mike Tulio and Guto Oliveira. Initially structured as a band that also included Rennan Azevedo and Felipe Lopes, the lineup gained national prominence in 2016 by participating in the third season of the musical reality show Superstar, broadcast by Rede Globo. During the competition, the group stood out for performing original songs and won third place in the final, prompting the signing of a contract with the SLAP label, from Som Livre.

The group's self-titled debut album was released to the public in 2017 and featured prominent collaborations, including the participation of singer Sandy on the track "Ai de Mim", which was part of the soundtrack of the soap opera O Outro Lado do Paraíso. Starting with the music video for this same song, the project consolidated as a duo formed by Mike and Guto. In 2018, they participated in the song "Outrória", by the duo Anavitória, and the following year they signed with Universal Music Brazil, releasing the EP Encaixe.

With a sound based on folk and folk rock, the duo incorporates influences from pop and MPB, dialoguing with artists like Maria Gadú and Marcelo Jeneci. Over the years, they have maintained a prominent trajectory in the independent and national pop scene, releasing new acoustic records and partnerships with renowned composers.
