Pagodart is a Brazilian band that emerged from Salvador, Bahia, and has become a significant name in the pagode baiano genre. Formed around the turn of the millennium, the band gained national recognition with their hit "Tapa na Cara" in 2001, released by Sony Music. Their music is characterized by the energetic rhythms of pagode baiano, often referred to as pagodão or swingueira, which blends samba-reggae with pagode, incorporating strong percussion and faster tempos.

Throughout their career, Pagodart has released several successful songs, including "Respeite Carandiru," "Uisminoufay," and "Se Você Quer Tome," which have become anthems for their fans. The band, often nicknamed "Carreta Desgovernada," has a strong connection to the Salvador Carnival, having performed for numerous years and even having a bloc (Carreta) created specifically for them. Their live performances are known for their high energy and engaging choreography, contributing to their popularity.

Pagodart's journey has seen periods of change, including a temporary departure and return of their lead singer, Flavinho.
