Francisco da Silva Fárrea Júnior, known artistically as Paquito, was a Brazilian composer and singer who left his mark on the country's popular music, especially in the samba and carnival genres.

His musical career flourished in Rio de Janeiro, where he became known for his partnerships with other renowned composers, such as Romeu Gentil and Marino Pinto. Together, they created marchinhas and sambas that animated carnivals and became hits, such as "Jacarepaguá" and "Tomara que chova", which was re-recorded by Emilinha Borba. Paquito also had compositions recorded by artists like Jorge Veiga and Neco do Violão, demonstrating the versatility and reach of his work.

In addition to being a composer, Paquito also worked as a singer, and his songs frequently addressed themes of everyday life and the Brazilian festive spirit.
