Biography

Paula Fernandes began her artistic journey in childhood, singing in Sete Lagoas, her hometown, and releasing her first work independently at ten years of age. After years of performing on regional radio and television and releasing albums under different stage names, the singer achieved national recognition with the album Pássaro de Fogo, driven by the success of the title track and the song "Jeito de Mato," which was part of the soundtrack for the telenovela Paraíso.

The major commercial and international turning point occurred with the release of the live album Paula Fernandes: Ao Vivo, which sold over a million copies and topped charts in both Brazil and Portugal. Throughout her career, she has established herself as one of the leading names in música sertaneja, receiving multiple Latin Grammy awards with albums such as Amanhecer and Origens. Her work also engages with various genres and prominent partnerships, collaborating with names like Leonardo, Gustavo Mioto, Kell Smith, and Marília Mendonça.

Alongside her recorded successes and international tours that have visited Europe, the United States, and Africa, the artist expanded her work into television and the publishing market, in addition to engaging in philanthropic causes. Staying active in the music scene, she released projects like the album 11:11 and continued to renew her sound by embracing elements of feminejo and romantic pop.
